10.27 THE LINE OF SATURN
10.27 THE LINE OF SATURN
(Also called the fate line)
The line of Saturn starts at the base of the palm near the Wrist, normally between the life line and the edge of the area of Luna. It proceeds in a straight line to the mount of Saturn, the area under the second finger. A line like this has traditionally been considered a mark of good luck, though when studied it really signifies a steadfast desire to follow a definite pattern of living. It can be found in the hands of the rich and the poor alike, from the housewife or the cloistered nun to the seagoing official of the navy or famous personalities—in fact, in any station of life.
Absence of the line of Saturn does not mean failure. It means that the career, the way of living, can be chosen by the individual, with or without help. Often a new line will grow into the palm as the years pass by; however, the line of the Sun can be read as a substitute fate line.
A short life line may be transferred on a long line of Saturn, usually following some small line of demarcation on the latter.
