16.3.1. TEST NUMBER ELEVEN: REMOTE CONTROL
******************************************

A form of the “willing game” that evolved in a very interesting way. Some demonstrators, instead of moving around the room or thinking their way about, found it preferable to study the objects briefly, then close their eyes and try to visualize one from the mass impression of the group. Since the demonstrator did not cue the group, either by handling an object or staring steadily at it, there was no way of “picking up” a “tension” thus created.

Granting, therefore, mat the result might be purely telepathic, there seemed no reason for the group to be present; or if they did have to be close, they could at least be out of sight and hearing of the demonstrator. So the test may be worked thus:

The committee picks an object during the demonstrator’s absence; then they move to another room. The demonstrator enters the first room, picks what he thinks is the right object, and takes it to the group.
