First Decan: January 21 – 30. Planet: Venus
Venus brings out the friendly, agreeable side of this steadygoing, plodding nature, but not always for the best. The tendency here is to be easily led, yet easily discouraged. Once such people go against their own interests or wishes, they become stubborn and get nowhere. Being kindly, they often back other persons but forget themselves. They are both artistic and scientific, so their best plan is to develop their own abilities and go on from there.

Here, quick thought and lively manner add impulse to the Aquarian nature. People born in this period make many friends because they show interest in other persons and apply good common sense. Deep-set ambition is brought to the fore through self-expression. But contacts are important to success. Persons born in this period should never become self-centered, or they will lose their greatest asset.

The changeable qualities of the Moon causes the stanch Aquarian to vary his activities, which can be equally Disastrous. The only road to triumph is through common sense, with which Aquarius is fortunately endowed. Apply it and make sure each new step is in some way progressive. Then, the lesser planetary influences may prove helpful.
