6.12 DREAM DICTIONARY – K

KEY: 

A dream about a key foretells a change. A broken key warns of sorrow. Lost keys indicate some unpleasantry that may complicate the dreamer’s plans. To find a key in a dream is a lucky sign.

KILL:

See Murder, re persons. To kill an animal is usually symbolic. The dreamer wishes to be nil of a difficult situation that appears to be like an animal. See Animals.

KING:

A king is a symbol of authority, waking or dreaming. To dream of being a king is a desire to rule others. To see or talk to a king indicates that the dreamer needs the direction and guiding influence of someone powerful as a king. This is usually interpreted as the father of the dreamer. With elderly people it would mean a consultant or adviser.

KISS: See Embrace.

KITE:

Making a kite warns the dreamer not to speculate. To fly a kite indicates a desire to be an extrovert.

KNIFE:

The knife, in dreams, has several associations. It is a symbol of fear, either physically or morally. Dissatisfaction that leads to intensive hate and fear can bring on dreams of violence. People and places involved with the dream must be the means to help interpret the dream.

The knife, by some analysts, is also a sex symbol of men. Generally, the knife signifies quarrels between the-sexes resultant from a fear complexity.

KNITTING:

Knitting indicates a need for thrift, especially if the dreamer is knitting by hand. If the knitting is done by machinery, hasty decisions need careful attention.

KNOTS:

Knots indicate minor worries. If the dreamer ties a knot, time is needed to be free from an uncomfortable situation.
