10.23.4 UNUSUAL LINES EMANATING FROM THE LINE OF LIFE
A definite branch line at or near the beginning of the life line extending to the mount of Jupiter, under first finger — unusual marked success; can be a brilliant marriage or career, but avoid egotism.
A connecting line to Saturn, under second finger — desire for solitude; often deeply religious. If this line starts inside the life line, on the mount of Venus, domestic or personal grievances can deprive one or more persons of all the happiness in life.
A line to Apollo, under the third finger —usually wealth or fame through the aid of friends or family. This must be a straight line. Wavy or broken lines mean struggles that may hinder the ultimate goal.
A connecting line to Mercury area, heavy as the life line, with no breaks — prosperity in business or profession, usually through the help of loved ones. If this line cuts through a strong fate or Apollo line, the business outcome would be dubious because of interference with one or more projects, or too many people interested in the same thing.
Small lines that cut through the life line are usually annoying interferences that hinder business or inflict unhappiness. Sometimes called bad luck lines.
A line to Upper Mars — unusual bravery, physical strength, often in service to one’s country.
Line to Luna — many interpretations. Strong life and head lines with it may mean love of travel, restlessness. With drooping head line, imaginative and creative ability such as writers, artists, musicians etc.
In a weak hand — lascivious tendencies.
With a weak life line denoting illness, this line to Luna increases the hazard. If a cross formation is on this line to Luna, there is a desire to escape from problems, so habitual alcoholism or dope addiction is the result.
