VIBRATORY NUMBERS

Of the various methods used in analyzing individual traits through numerology, the following procedure is one of the simplest and best:
The birth number is first considered as representing the person’s natural characteristics. It is formed from the figures of the birth date and is the number of personality.
The name number is taken next, to indicate developed traits. In early life, the full name is generally considered; but this is supplanted by the name as regularly used. This is the number of development.
If the name number continues in that form, its importance increases in terms of the person’s career. If it is radically changed, or a pen name or stage name is taken in its stead, the new name is the one on which the later reckoning is based. In either case, whether the old name or a new one becomes all-important, it is known as the number of attainment.
Mote that in many instances the person’s original name becomes both his early number of development and his final number of attainment, without any change whatever. In other cases, the adding or dropping of a mere initial may cause an appreciable difference between the two.
From either name, but preferably the one finally chosen, added data can be gained from:
The vowel vibration, which is obtained by adding the numerical value of the vowels in a person’s name and reducing them to a primary number. This is the number of underlying influence.
The frequency number, which applies only when a number recurs very often in a name and predominates strongly over the others. This is the number of added influence.
