1.14 THE CUSPS

Persons born “on the line” between two signs of the zodiac partake of qualities found in both those signs, or more strictly speaking, have a blend of traits that may compose an individual nature. Due to variations in astrological calendars, this may become apparent during the last few days of a departing sign, but the “cusp,” as it is termed, pertains chiefly to the first week of the incoming Sign.

 

While the new Sign is gaining its ascendancy, the influence of the old persists, but gradually loses its hold day by day, until by the seventh day, the new sign is in full control. So in the descriptions of the cusps and their significance, the approximate dates of the first week are given. The names of both

 

signs are included and persons born on or near the line should refer to the chart of each sign for a summary of personal traits, at the same time remembering that the strength of the latter sign is more evident with each successive birth date The cusps follow:
