10.33 LINES OF OPPOSITION *************************
These are horizontal lines on the mount area Of Upper Mars. They start from the percussion side of the hand. They represent opposition toward other people. This can be a financial problem or a personal complication that takes the form of enmity.
Short lines – unimportant quarrels or friction.
A long line reaching the life line or mount area of Venus – family problems that could be very serious.
Reaching or cutting through the line of Saturn or Apollo – legal threat or danger of lawsuit. In the hands of people with long thumbs and strong head lines, the opposition lines pertain to lawyers, judges, and the many other appointees connected with law whereby they handle such problems. These lines can also be found in the hands of the wives of men in the legal profession.
Cutting the heart line — the affections will become involved.
One exception — if the line turns and terminates on the area of Apollo it becomes the fortune line — a successful career in spite of opposition due to personal effort alone.
