1.43 THE MOON
The MOON – Ruler of the sign Cancer
***********************************
The the lunar orb itself, this planetary influence is changeable, yet understandable and therefore controllable. Imagination is its chief trait and one that can be carried to almost fanciful extremes.
On the one hand, the Lunarian exhibits that insight known as intuition; on the other, overimagination can lead to worry and hysteria. In between, there is a restless ever-changing trend, which may run the gamut from idle dreaming to compelling urge for purposeless travel.
Being pliable, the Lunarian nature is receptive and adaptable to almost any circumstance. It betokens sympathy, sound economy, and intelligent planning, except when indecision takes hold. Such fluctuation is the great danger of the Lunarian influence.
Hence, this nature needs strengthening, which can be gained by making the most out of other planetary influences, provided they do not produce conflict or add to the moodiness that is so typically Lunarian.
Lunarians vary in height, but there is one type which is more than average, often stout in build and dreamy in gaze. Lunanrians, in later years, draw into themselves, as though living in another world.
The Moon activates the sign of Cancer and is responsible for the uncertainty of that period. Hence the influence of the Moon is regarded as unfavorable. It should be subordinated or adapted to more helpful planetary influences.
