Inherent caution and foresight restrain the natural drive and ambition of the Aries sign. It is an excellent combination, since Jupiter, as governing planet of Pisces, supplies an ambition of its own, in the form of deep determination, which Mars, ruler of Aries, will further in an assertive way.
Such people are quick to accept new ideas, but generally reconsider them before venturing too far, since the Pisces nature abhors failure. They also regret hasty action, and when roused to anger, under the Martian urge, they cool down rapidly and worry over their brief display.
The same applies when they become boastful or even too talkative. They feel that they have let their enthusiasm carry them beyond their capability and they try to retrench. This applies to new business ventures. Their Aries nature takes them into action, challenging, and even speculative fields, though always with honest purpose. But unless they gain immediate results, they will fall back on something tried and true.
This is because the Jupiterian carry-over from Pisces causes them to value the opinion of other persons ahead of the self-esteem which Mars furthers through Aries. Persons born at this period are fighters, but must be sure of their ground. They are good promoters and developers of new ideas, but only when those are founded upon established facts or principles. Then, the native of this cusp has the firm conviction needed to proceed.
