11.3.8. GROUP 7: THE LITERARY FACULTIES

These run across the center of the forehead, beginning with the very center, then spreading on bow sides. They include:
31. Eventuality: Developed, a remarkable memory for facts and experiences, often of a historical nature. Excessive development a tendency to describe events in lengthy, redundant fashion. Deficiency, no memory for past events.
32. Time: Developed, this shows an uncanny sense of time and timing, with a good memory for dates. Excessive development, a stickler for punctuality and exactitude. Deficiency shows little or no regard for time in any way.
33. Tune: Developed, a remarkable memory for tunes and good appreciation of music. Excessive development, the urge to sing and play continually. Deficiency marks the person devoid of musical sense.
34. Language: This faculty is shown in the eye itself, evidenced by a bulge of the eye or the area just beneath it. Developed, it denotes skill in speech and writing, often with the knack of acquiring foreign languages. Excessive development, an over talkative nature. Deficiency, lack of word memory, and poor expression.

These are found in the upper forehead and presumably account for any great bulge noted there. They include:
27. Casuality: When developed, this is the sign of the thinker, with great ability at rationalization, a superior intellect. Excessive development, a mind given to theoretical rather than practical knowledge. Deficiency, poor powers of reason and judgment.
28. Comparison: Developed, this shows great analytical ability, with quickness at citing examples to prove a point. Good at quoting proverbs and appropriate sayings. Excessive development indicates a habitual fault-finder. Deficiency means lack of ability in forming sound conclusions.
29. Human Nature: Developed, this shows ability to judge people almost on sight. Excessive development, overcritical in judgment. Deficiency, a lack of discrimination in choice of friends and associates.
30. Agreeableness: When developed, the mark of the smooth, persuasive speaker with a winning personality. Excessive development indicates glib, empty tank. Deficiency shows an unpleasant, challenging manner.
